'I try to look at them unbiasedly'
The New England Patriots are heading to the Super Bowl, and one of their former players, Julian Edelman is supporting them no matter what.
Edelman appeared on “The Arena: Gridion”, where the hosts asked him whether he would be cheering for New England in the Super Bowl or if he wanted to preserve his dynasty as a Patriot.
“I am definitely rooting for New England,” Edelman said on Friday. “I try to look at them unbiasedly. It may not sound like it, but you gotta understand what I have been indoctrinated with. When the tide rises, all boats float.”
Edelman spent 11 seasons with the Patriots from 2009 to 2020, clinching three Super Bowl titles.
Some players struggle when they see others achieving the same success they’ve had, but Edelman doesn’t seem to be one of them.
Edelman is a lifelong Patriot, so cheering for New England in the Super Bowl will likely be a breeze for him.
