It’s time for perhaps our most improbable national championship, as the suddenly surging 10-seed Miami Hurricanes will meet the unlikely powerhouse No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers.

Team Overviews

No. 10 Miami Hurricanes
Conference: ACC
Head Coach: Mario Cristobal
Record: 13–2

Miami secured the biggest upset in the history of the CFP on New Year’s Eve.

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

The Hurricanes have ripped off seven consecutive victories, including their final four against No. 24 Pitt in the regular season finale, No. 7 Texas A&M in the first round, No. 2 Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl and No. 6 Ole Miss in the Fiesta Bowl.

It’s hard seeing that trend continue against the next team, though…

No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers
Conference: Big Ten
Head Coach: Curt Cigneti
Record: 15-0

Indiana has been the model of consistency this season, serving as the only undefeated team remaining in the FBS.

The Hoosiers boast blowout wins over Illinois, UCLA, Alabama and Oregon, while squeezing out close ones over Iowa, Penn State, Ohio State and Oregon (again).

Curt Cigneti knows what he’s doing. Google him.

The Hurricanes’ other two titles were won at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans (1989) and the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. (2001).
