Patriots Officially Make Uniform Selection For Super Bowl LX

The New England Patriots have officially decided which uniform they will be rocking in Super Bowl LX against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Pats will once again don the clean jerseys that they won the AFC Championship Game in: The white jersey/white pants combo. ESPN’s Mike Reiss reported the news on Thursday morning.
As the “home” team in Super Bowl LX, New England had their choice of uniform.
Perhaps it’s because the Pats have their best record in Super Bowls when wearing white (4-3). They are 2-2 wearing blue, and 0-1 wearing red.
In Super Bowl XX against the Bears, they wore red jerseys and lost. For Super Bowl XXXI versus the Packers, the Drew Bledsoe-led Pats wore white jerseys and fell short.
To kick off the Brady/Belichick dynasty, they switched to blue jerseys for Super Bowl XXXVI against the Rams and won, repeating the blue in Super Bowl XXXVIII versus the Panthers for another victory.
White jerseys returned in Super Bowl XXXIX against the Eagles, resulting in a win.
Blue jerseys appeared again in Super Bowl XLII versus the Giants, leading to a loss, and in Super Bowl XLVI against the Giants for another defeat.
The team wore white jerseys in Super Bowl XLIX versus the Seahawks and triumphed, followed by wins in white during Super Bowl LI against the Falcons and Super Bowl LIII versus the Rams. They lost in white in Super Bowl LII against the Eagles.
This pattern shows white as the dominant choice for victories in the team’s history.
