Patriots Issue Three-Word Message On Divisional Round Uniform Decision

New England will face Houston in its next postseason game

The New England Patriots cruised to a 16-3 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in the wild-card round of the playoffs, setting the stage for a tough divisional round matchup against the Houston Texans. With this game drawing near, the Pats revealed their uniform combo for this game.

Against the Chargers, the Patriots didn’t play their best game on offense, as Drake Maye struggled to consistently hit his targets, while also committing a pair of turnovers. Luckily for him, the defense did have its best game of the season, as it completely shut down Justin Herbert and Los Angeles’ offense in this one.

Playing in front of their home crowd at Gillette Stadium, the Pats rocked their typical home uniform combination, wearing navy blue jerseys with silver pants. After it worked against the Chargers, the Patriots will be running it back and wearing the same uniforms for their clash with the Texans.

While New England’s uniform decision will ultimately play no role in determining the outcome of the game, it’s always a good way to get fans pumped for the game. After the Patriots earned their first postseason victory since winning Super Bowl LIII, it’s safe to say the vibes surrounding the team are quite high right now.

The Pats will have their hands full with a tough Texans team in this one, though. Not only is Houston red-hot right now, but it also happens to sport arguably the best defense in the league, which could cause problems for Maye and the offense.

Fans have been waiting all season long for the Patriots to prove they can take down some of the top teams in the league, and they will get a great shot to do so in this one. Kickoff for this contest is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon.
