New York Yankees superstar and reigning American League MVP Aaron Judge has been named the cover athlete for MLB The Show 26, according to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale.
Judge becomes the second player ever to appear on the cover of MLB The Show twice, joining former Twins great Joe Mauer.
Judge delivered an outstanding 2025 season for the New York Yankees, appearing in 152 games with a .331 batting average, 53 home runs, 114 RBIs, and a league-leading 1.145 OPS. He added 12 stolen bases and 137 runs scored, securing the AL MVP award, along with the Silver Slugger and Hank Aaron Award.
In the postseason, he batted .500 with a 1.273 OPS across seven games, including key hits against the Blue Jays in the ALDS.
Judge accepted his MVP honor on January 26, expressing thanks to family and fans.
