Brian Hoyer Makes Thoughts On 2025 Patriots Extremely Clear

What does Hoyer think about N.E.'s run to the Super Bowl?

The New England Patriots are back in the Super Bowl for the first time since 2019, and they look quite different from the last time we saw them on this stage. Gone are guys like Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, with the new quarterback/head coach duo of Drake Maye and Mike Vrabel leading the way for New England.

In the blink of an eye, the Pats went from winning just four games last season to being the last team standing in the AFC. With one more win against a talented Seattle Seahawks squad, the Patriots could make history by winning their seventh Super Bowl, which would be the most of any team in the NFL.

One guy who has kept close tabs on New England this season is one of the team’s former quarterbacks, Brian Hoyer. While the Patriots have been largely counted out by folks ahead of this game, Hoyer credited the team for being arguably the most consistent squad in the entire league throughout the 2025 campaign.

“I would say they’ve been the most consistent team out of any NFL team this season,” Hoyer said on “Patriots Unfiltered.” “They’ve been consistent, they’ve gotten better and they’ve been, to me, a complete team.”

While Hoyer never took the field during any of his Super Bowl appearances with the Pats, he knows what it takes to come out on top in these games. Having a team where everyone is working towards improving and on the same page with each other is crucial, and that’s what he sees with this squad.

Will that be enough for New England to win this game? That is the big question, and it’s clear that Seattle is going to provide this team with its biggest challenge of the season. If the team can come together and deliver one more big performance, though, it could pull off a surprising upset victory.
