Former Boston Celtics forward Georges Niang is becoming one of the more well-traveled players in the NBA.
The 32-year-old was included in Tuesday’s reported eight-player blockbuster between the Memphis Grizzlies and Utah Jazz that saw two-time All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr. head west.
The Celtics had been linked to JJJ this winter ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline.
Boston acquired Niang in July 2025 as part of a three-team trade that sent Kristaps Porzingis to the Atlanta Hawks.
The Celtics then moved Niang to the Jazz in August in a cost-cutting move.
The Iowa State product has yet to suit up this season, as he works his way back from a left foot injury.
Tuesday’s transaction marks the fourth time that Niang has been traded in his career, all of which have come in the past year.
He was also sent from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Hawks on Feb. 6, 2025.
