LeBron James Praises Jaylen Brown For Epic Season

LeBron showed JB love.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James recently took the opportunity to praise his fellow NBA wing Jaylen Brown for the stellar season JB is having right now.

“A lot of people were saying it might be lottery for the Celtics (this year),” James said. “Jaylen Brown basically said to hell with your narratives, I’m about to go crazy. We gotta give some flowers to Jaylen Brown.”

Through 45 games played this season, Brown is averaging 29.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game, shooting 48.5% from the field and 36.2% from three-point range.

These numbers rank him among the league’s top scorers, placing him fourth in points per game while showing improved playmaking and rebounding compared to prior seasons.

The Celtics hold a 31-18 record, positioning them strongly in the Eastern Conference despite the transitions. Brown has delivered several standout performances recently, including a dominant 30-point, 13-rebound double-double in just 29 minutes during a 107-79 rout of the Milwaukee Bucks on February 1. He returned from a one-game absence due to hamstring tightness and a knee contusion to lead the charge in that blowout, making 12-of-20 shots with four threes.

In late January, Brown posted efficient outings like 21 points against Atlanta (January 28), 20 points with four steals versus Portland (January 26), and a 33-point effort earlier in the month. He also notched a 41-point explosion against the Hawks on January 18, contributing to his tally of multiple high-scoring games this year.

Brown’s leadership has been evident off the court too, as he advocated for teammate Derrick White’s All-Star candidacy in a recent stream. Selected as an Eastern Conference starter for the 2026 All-Star Game—his fifth selection and first as a starter—Brown continues to anchor Boston’s push, blending scoring volume with defensive contributions and efficiency in key moments. His elevated usage has fueled the team’s competitiveness, making him central to their identity this season.
