The Red Sox will attempt to win their four-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday, closing out a homestand at Fenway Park with a less-than-ideal lineup.

Rafael Devers will sit once again, with Mickey Gasper and Nick Sogard getting starts.

Devers will miss his third consecutive game, having sat out of Boston's two wins over Toronto on Tuesday and Wednesday due to nagging shoulder injuries. It's been an annoyance all season for the 27-year-old, who has now missed four games over the last three weeks.

Gasper will play second base, taking the two spot in the order after David Hamilton was placed on the injured list Thursday, while Sogard gets the start at third in relief of Devers. Romy Gonzalez and Rob Refsnyder will be bench options late in the game. Danny Jansen will return to the lineup, replacing Connor Wong behind the dish. Boston didn't make any other changes.
