Patriots Make Major O-Line Changes For Dolphins Matchup

The Patriots appear to be taking a risk prior to Sunday's matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

New England is rolling with an entirely new offensive line combination, with Vederian Lowe, Michael Jordan and Nick Leverett all entering the starting lineup for pregame warmups at Gillette Stadium.

Leverett is replacing David Andrews, who was placed on injured reserve Friday after it was revealed he'd be undergoing shoulder surgery that will likely to end his season. Lowe will re-enter the lineup after dealing with a knee injury over the last couple of weeks, while Demontrey Jacobs moves from left tackle to right tackle. Mike Onwenu will slide over to right guard, his natural position, with Jordan replacing Sidy Sow at left guard.

Bryan Hudson was elevated from the practice squad to serve as the primary depth piece in the middle, with Zachary Thomas, Layden Robinson and Sidy Sow serving as the other backups.

It isn't necessarily known as a recipe for success in the National Football League, but the Patriots will roll with a fifth offensive line combination in their fifth game of the season. It should be interesting to watch, at least.
