The Patriots have several needs to address this offseason, including offensive tackle.
Will Campbell is a prime candidate to be the first tackle off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft where the Patriots are currently in prime selection to take him. New England needs a real talent to protect Drake Maye, but Patriots fans should love the mindset that the prospect takes to his thankless position.
“One thing we live by in the O-line room: A D-lineman gets one sack a game and that’s the only thing he can do for 12 games, he’ll be a top-five pick,” Campbell previously told reporters. “You give up one sack a game for 12 games, you’re gonna work at Amazon. Nothing wrong with that. But whenever we’re here, this is what I’m striving for.”
The LSU product rose to prominence with legitimate blocking and pass protection in the SEC. The Patriots need real upside after a disastrous season for the offensive line. Campbell could help that turnaround should he come to New England.
