Mike Vrabel will be busy over the coming days, as he reportedly has a few important interviews scheduled.
The Cleveland Browns permitted the 49-year-old to leave with one game left in the regular season, giving him a head start on interviews with teams that already have job openings: The New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears, according to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic.
Vrabel will kick things off with an interview in New York on Friday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.
The New England Patriots have been floated as a possible landing spot for the man who spent eight seasons playing for the franchise, but there isn’t expected to be an opening available for him. Vrabel, however, reportedly has interest if the job were to become available.
Vrabel spent last season working in Cleveland, helping both head coach Kevin Stefanski and general manager Andrew Berry in an advisory role. It’s expected that he’ll have a new home in 2025, however, which very well could be decided over the next couple of weeks.
