Clay Matthews in “Pitch Perfect 2,” you say? Aca-believe it.
The new trailer for the sequel to the hit 2012 movie about a college a capella group hit the Internet on Thursday, and it featured 100 percent more NFL players than the first flick. Matthews — joined by Packers offensive linemen T.J. Lang, Don Barclay, Clay Matthews, David Bakhtiari and Josh Sitton — are featured in the trailer as one of the competing groups.
Matthew’s guns steal the scene, but Aaron Rodgers’ brother, Jordan — a quarterback currently on the BC Lions’ practice squad in the Canadian Football League — also makes a cameo.
While it might seem strange for a bunch of big, burly men to appear in the movie, it appears they are some of the biggest fans. Bakhtiari actually tweeted to actress Alexis Knapp, asking what the O-line needed to do to be cast in the sequel. Apparently, a tweet was enough.
