Bovada has set the line on World Peace's suspension for elbowing James Harden at 7 1/2 games. If the over wins out, and Artest is suspended eight games or more, it would mean he would miss the Lakers' entire first-round series regardless of how many games it goes (plus their regular season finale).
The incident in question occurred during the second quarter of Sunday's Lakers-Thunder clash. After scoring a bucket, the L.A. forward swung his elbow, delivering a punishing blow to Harden's head. The elbow left Harden shaken up, forcing him from the game with a concussion, and led to World Peace's ejection.
While the decision on a suspension is still up in the air, don't be surprised if the NBA makes a bold decision, especially with the emphasis placed on eliminating head shots across all sports.
