The total has gone UNDER in Boston’s last five games, and in six of Detroit’s last nine games. The OddsShark Computer predicts a 2.4-2.2 Boston victory, which means it sees a close game that potentially comes in UNDER the posted total.
The Boston Celtics are currently 2-2 in exhibition play, and they have back-to-back games at home against Toronto on Wednesday and on the road against Philadelphia on Thursday. The Celtics will then wrap up their preseason with a pair of games against Brooklyn on Sunday and next Wednesday.
The sportsbooks have released their NBA win totals for the 2014-15 season, and the Celtics have been set at 27 wins. The UNDER is at -120 on that futures wager, while the OVER is at even money. A year ago, the Celtics’ win total was set at 27.5, and they finished with 25 wins.

Boston College looks to build on a big road win when it hosts No. 24 Clemson this weekend. The Eagles went on the road as underdogs and defeated N.C. State 30-14 last time out. Clemson opened as a 7.5-point favorite for the game, but that line has slid down to Clemson -5 at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The total is at 46.5
Both teams are 4-2 both ATS and SU on the season. Clemson is 4-2 ATS in its last six games against BC, and 10-4 in its last 14 road games. The total has gone UNDER in four of the last five games between these two schools.
