Fantasy football owners should have to wait at least another week to put Jamaal Charles in their lineup. The Kansas City Chiefs running back won’t play Sunday against the Houston Texans, but his return to game action should come soon, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles is expected to make his debut in week 3 against the Jets, per source. https://t.co/2WpMGV6Uhn

CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora also reported Charles won’t play Sunday.

Spencer Ware should be the primary running back for the Chiefs once again. He amassed 199 total yards in Kansas City’s Week 1 win over the San Diego Chargers, rushing for 70 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and catching seven passes for 129 yards.
Ware should be started in most fantasy lineups, preferably as a flex play.
The Texans aren’t a horrible matchup for Ware, but they did allow just 3.7 yards per carry to the Chicago Bears last week. Bears running back Jeremy Langford did find the end zone, though.
