Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts has been one of the American League’s top shortstops all season, but he was left off the AL All-Star team.

Now he needs the help of Red Sox Nation.

Despite being snubbed, Bogaerts still can end up alongside Brock Holt representing the Red Sox at the All-Star Game in Cincinnati on July 14. Bogaerts is one of five American League players eligible for Major League Baseball’s Final Vote contest.

Red Sox fans looking to get Bogaerts to the All-Star Game can do any of the following to help:

1. Visit redsox.com/vote to vote until 4 p.m. ET on Friday
2.  Can vote from your mobile device by texting A1 to 89269 until 4 p.m. ET on Friday
3.  Use the hashtag #XforASG on Friday from 10 a.m. ET – 4 p.m. ET. (Retweets will also count as votes)

The Red Sox are teaming up with the Los Angeles Dodgers to help get Clayton Kershaw elected, too. You can vote for both players by clicking the photo below.
