Marco Sturm's return to the lineup was very short-lived as the winger left Wednesday's practice early.

Sturm, who missed Monday's loss to the Senators and Saturday's loss to the Kings with a leg injury, returned to the ice with the team on Wednesday morning. However, the B's leading goal scorer was excused from the workout and head coach Claude Julien said that the early departure wasn't planned.

The winger is now "questionable" for Thursday's match with the Blue Jackets at the TD Garden according to Julien.
