Already without the services of their leading scorer, the Bruins will be without the man who has manned the pipes for them in the last seven games.

NESN.com has learned that Tuukka Rask is out with a lower-body injury and is day-to-day.

Matt Dalton, who was up from the Bruins' ECHL affiliate in Reading, Pa., to fill in for Tim Thomas at practice during the Olympic break, will be Thomas' backup against the Maple Leafs.

Thomas will start in his first game since Feb. 2, when he lost 4-1 to the Capitals.
