The Big Easy is going to have a hard time dealing with this potential loss.

Guard Chris Paul is upset with the club and wants to be traded prior to the start of the 2010-11 season, according to CBSSports.com

“He wants out,” said the website’s source. “He wants to play with another superstar. He wants to follow LeBron’s [James] model of teaming up with other great players.”

The 25-year-old All-Star and former rookie of the year has narrowed his wish list down to the Knicks, Lakers and Magic.

“This is my fifth year in the league and I’m not trying to wait until I’m an old veteran in this league trying to win a championship,” Paul said late last season. “We’re trying to win now. Whatever we have to do to win, we’ve got to do now.”
