Nationals slugger Adam Dunn, who surprisingly stayed put over the trade deadline weekend, has hit the waiver wire, according to Buster Olney.

Teams now have 48 hours to put claims on the power hitter who is seeking his seventh straight season of 38 or more homers.

According to Olney, the Rockies and Giants are expected to put claims on him while AL teams — including the White Sox, Rays and Yankees — won't even get a shot to put a claim in.

Dunn is batting .267 with 26 homers and 67 RBIs this season.
