FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots wide receiver Deion Branch ripped the Jets for their classlessness at the conclusion of Sunday's playoff loss.

The Jets knocked out the Pats, 28-21, at Gillette Stadium, and they celebrated on the field by flipping off the Patriots fans who remained in attendance, among other things Branch wouldn't get into.

"It was a lot of classless play on the football field after the game, but you have to expect that from some of the guys over there," Branch said.

Branch was visibly distraught by the Jets' actions, and he said he was "embarrassed" by their foul activity.

"I'm a champion, and I'm always going to congratulate the guys on the victory," Branch said. "They beat us [Sunday]. They beat us when it mattered, so the ones with class, I shook their hands. The other ones, I didn’t. They don’t deserve my nor my teammates' congratulations for them to act like that. You can tell they're not used to being in this position."
