Dustin Pedroia on Knee Injury Scare: ‘I Kind of Lucked Out’

Things are going well right now for the Red Sox, but all of that good fortune flashed before their eyes this week when it was found out that Dustin Pedroia needed to go to Boston to get his ailing right knee checked.

However, the entire region breathed a collective sigh of relief on Thursday when it was revealed that Pedroia had simply suffered a bone bruise. The injury was so minor, in fact, that the second baseman was back in the lineup on Friday night in Toronto.
