The Florida Marlins will have a new name and a new ballpark when the 2012 season opens. Apparently, the Miami Marlins as they'll be known, will also have a new logo.

TheBigLead.com points out that a pair of Marlins blogs (who knew, right?) have come across what could be a new logo and color scheme for the new-look Fish.

The new logo, according to what the FishatBat blog came across, would feature an orange, blue, yellow, black, silver and white look. The Miami Marlin "M" is placed prominently in the middle of the logo with a silhouette of the Marlin coming out of the M.

See the logo below.

Another Marlins blogger came across a simliar version of the same logo but with a different color scheme. That one is below.

Of course, nothing has been confirmed at this point. The Marlins aren't expected to unveil any logo or uniform changes until November.
