While Kris Humphries makes a living by playing basketball and is married to Kim Kardashian, his life isn't completely perfect. Losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in an investment scam still hurts.
Andrey C. Hicks, a 27-year-old man from Boston, stole $1.7 million from different investors, including Humphries, according to TMZ. He reportedly duped Humphries and others by telling them he was a Harvard graduate and had worked for Barclays Capital.
Hicks, who was also a guest at Humphries and Kardashian's wedding in August, faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted. He was arrested in Canada on Friday while allegedly trying to flee to Switzerland.
