Dereck Chisora made headlines for his actions before his fight against Vitali Klitschko. Now, he’s making headlines after.

Chisora lost to Klitschko, but the craziest action occurred at the postfight news conference, when Chisora ended up getting into a full-fledged rumble with former WBA champion David Haye.

Haye, who attended Saturday’s fight as a commentator for a British outlet, showed up to the news conference demanding a fight with Klitschko, who had just successfully defended his WBC title. Chisora got into a verbal altercation with Haye soon thereafter.

It didn’t remain a verbal battle for too long, though.

After Chisora and Haye yelled at each other briefly, during which Chisora challenged Haye to a fight and Haye claimed he would knock Chisora out, Chisora got up from the table he was sitting at and headed off into the crowd to confront Haye. When the two came together, a wild brawl broke out, with Haye throwing the first punch.

Bottles and camera equipment began flying, and Haye’s trainer, Adam Booth, emerged from the melee all bloody.

But it still didn’t end there. Chisora then threatened to kill Haye, saying, “David is going to fight me or I’m going to shoot him. I’m going to shoot him in the street. I’ll burn him.”

Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali’s brother, meanwhile, stood on a chair laughing. Vitali shook his head and left the room.

In other words, the scene looked more like something Vince McMahon would cook up as part of the WWE. But this, folks, was very much real life.
