Vote: Should LeBron James Have Been Called for Foul on Kevin Durant in Closing Seconds of Game 2? (Video)Celtics fans weren’t too pleased with the officiating during the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat.

Some believed that the officials were siding with the Heat and calling unnecessary fouls on the Celtics while not calling obvious fouls on Miami.

If that was the case, it’s not just the Celtics the referees have a problem with — it might be the Oklahoma City Thunder, too.

In the final seconds of Miami’s 100-96 win in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night, we might have seen another example of the referees not calling obvious fouls on the Heat. With just under 11 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter and the Thunder trailing 98-96, Kevin Durant received the inbounds pass from Derek Fisher and drove to the basket against LeBron James, who was playing tight defense on the regular season’s scoring leader. It appeared that James fouled Durant as he drove to the basket, causing Durant to miss the shot.

Referee Tom Washington didn’t call a foul, though. Had he done so, it would have put Durant at the line for two crucial free throws that, if made, would have tied the game.

We’ve seen this before. The officiating has been questionable this postseason. But did it get worse on Thursday?

See for yourself in the video below, and then vote on whether Durant should have been at the line for two pivotal free throw attempts.
