Wayne Gretzky is in Seattle reportedly with the hopes of persuading the NHL to put a hockey team in the area. Seattle already has a baseball team — the Seattle Mariners. So, Gretzky decided to watch the Mariners take on the New York Yankees.

One player excited to see Gretzky at the game was Yankees captain Derek Jeter, who, like Gretzky, is one of the best all-time athletes in his respective sport. So while Gretzky was in the front row at Safeco Field, Jeter decided to stop by after an inning and say hello to “The Great One.”
