Aly Raisman’s Parents Could Hardly Watch USA Gymnast On Uneven Bars In Rio

As hard as it is being an Olympian, being the parent of an Olympian might be even more gut-wrenching. USA gymnast Aly Raisman’s parents gave us a glimpse into that world Sunday night.

Raisman struggles most with the uneven bars, and her parents were in agony watching her compete on them during Sunday’s Olympic qualifying competition. The Internet enjoyed their reactions.

Raisman had one of her better performances on the bars but later slipped during her balance beam routine — one of her strengths. Still, she did enough to qualify for the all-around final for the second Olympics in a row.
