CenturyLink Field is well-known for being very friendly to the Seattle Seahawks and a nightmare to opposing teams. Unfortunately, though, the home team’s mascot doesn’t discriminate.
Taima the Hawk usually leads the team onto the field before the game and does a few laps before returning to her handler. During Sunday’s contest against the New York Giants, though, the bird decided to take a little detour.

Taima actually landed on the head of a poor Seahawks fan, who probably wasn’t expecting to have his head clawed by the mascot featured on his jacket when he headed to the stadium.
The Augur Hawk — whose wingspan measures nearly five feet — was a bit nicer to a few other fans, even coming to rest on a woman’s shoulder for an impromptu photo shoot.

Taima eventually returned to her handler, but if you plan on going to a Seahawks game soon, you might want to wear a hat.
