Boston Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron will participate in the accuracy shooting, skills challenge relay and shootout events during Saturday night’s NHL All-Star Skills Competition at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
Former Bruins winger Tyler Seguin competed in this event at the 2012 All-Star Game in Ottawa. This will be Bergeron’s first appearance in the skills competition as a first-time All-Star selection.
Here’s a look at which players Bergeron will compete against in the accuracy shooting event, per the league.
Bergeron will compete in the relay event as a one-timer passer. One-timer shots are one of the stations in the relay. The Bruins center also will be Team Toews’ first shooter in Round 1 of the shootout event. Alex Ovechkin will shoot first for Team Foligno in Round 1.
The All-Star Skills Competition festivities begin at 7 p.m. ET and will be televised on NBC Sports Network in the United States.
