BOSTON — Ryan Spooner was ejected from Saturday night’s Bruins-Canadiens game at TD Garden after the Boston center received a five-minute major penalty for boarding Montreal forward Brian Flynn.
The play happened early in the third period.

Spooner racked up almost twice the amount of penalty minutes he had entering Saturday’s game.
