BOSTON — There’s nobody better at finishing alley-oops in the NBA than Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, and Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart got a first-hand look at why Wednesday night.
The second-year point guard came over to help on defense, but he arrived too late as Jordan already was in mid-air. The Clippers center took the contact and still finished, while also earning a foul.

The Celtics went into halftime leading 71-64, though. Jordan and Smart each had 13 first-half points.
