Lionel Messi Misses Penalty Kick, Costs Argentina Copa America 2016 Title

The unthinkable happened on Argentina’s first penalty kick attempt in the Copa America 2016 final.

Superstar Lionel Messi had a chance to give his team an early 1-0 PK lead after Chile missed its first attempt, but his shot went way over the net.

To make matters worse for Argentina, Chile went on to win 4-2 on penalty kicks to win its second straight Copa America title.
