You shouldn’t throw things at people. It’s just not very nice.
But some fan in the outfield bleachers at Rogers Centre on Tuesday during the Toronto Blue Jays-Baltimore Orioles American League Wild Card Game apparently didn’t know that.
As Orioles left fielder Hyun Soo Kim went to catch a fly ball for the third out in the bottom of the seventh inning, someone threw a beer can onto the field, and it came dangerously close to hitting him.

As Yahoo! Sports’ Jeff Passan pointed out, Blue Jays fans have a bit of history when it comes to throwing beer at Orioles players.
This is not the first time a Blue Jays fan has thrown a beer at an Orioles outfielder. From 2013 … pic.twitter.com/GqUQXbAehX

The same thing also happened during the playoffs last season when a beer rained down from the rafters in a game against the Texas Rangers.
