Darko MilicicJimmer FredetteĀ made headlines recently with a number of different teams interested in his services after he completed a buyout with the Sacramento Kings.

The former Brigham Young University star probably hopes that a change of scenery will give him an opportunity to improve his game; Fredette hasn’t averaged more than eight points per game in his career so far.

Fredette’s struggles bring to mind a number of other talented basketball players whose skills never panned out in the NBA.

From former college sensations like Pervis Ellison and Adam Morrison, to draft picks that might have solely been selected for their height, there’s no shortage of players that disappointed after they entered the Association.

While there have been plenty of NBA draft busts throughout the years, the gallery below highlights the top 10 biggest disappointments ever to shake hands with a Commissioner on draft night.

Don’t fret Fredette fans, it’s still too early to tell if he’s truly a bust, or if playing in Sacramento hindered his abilities. A couple more seasons of underperforming though, and he might earn a spot on this list.
