Peabody Western, the champion of Massachusetts, won its second straight New England Regional Tournament tilt Sunday in Bristol, Conn., topping Lincoln, R.I., 10-8.
Matt Hosman had two hits — including a double — and two RBIs and earned the win for Peabody despite allowing 10 hits and seven earned runs in 4 2/3 innings on the mound. Catcher Traverse Brianna also had two hits and two RBIs in the win.
Jeff Sheehan had a home run and three hits total for Lincoln, scored four runs and had three RBIs in a losing cause.
