The Patriots signed former Buccaneers defensive back Kyle Arrington to the practice squad on Tuesday. In order to make room for Arrington on the eight-man practice squad, the Patriots released cornerback DeAngelo Willingham.

Arrington was selected by Philadelphia as a rookie free agent in 2007 out of Hofstra. He spent most of his rookie year on the Tampa Bay practice squad and was signed to the 53-man roster prior to the season opener against Dallas this season. He made his NFL debut against Dallas in Week 1 before being waived by the Buccaneers on Sept. 14.
