The Red Sox and Yankees will meet one final time during the regular season at Yankee Stadium next weekend, and if the two rivals don't meet in October, fans won't have to wait long in the 2010 season to see the greatest rivalry in professional sports.

The storied rivals will open the 2010 season at Fenway Park, but whether or not the game will be played on Sunday or Monday has yet to be determined.

In addition to opening the season against each other, the two clubs will also finish off the season at Fenway Park. It will be just the fifth time in 50 years that the two teams have started and finished a season against each other.

The last time the Red Sox and Yankees met in a season opener was in 2005 at Yankee Stadium.
