Boston Bruins Alumni

The Boston Bruins Alumni has been around for more than 50 years, and each of the players on the roster has either skated in at least one game for the Boston Bruins, the Providence Bruins, or they have been made an honorary member. There are more than 40 players that are involved with the Alumni, but only one serves as President, and that honor currently belongs to former Bruins defenseman Frank Simonetti.

Who Are The Greatest?

Throughout their 100-year history, the Boston Bruins had thousands of players don the Spoked-B or the Bear in their careers. Some are of legendary status receiving the highest honor from the franchise as their numbers hang proudly in the rafters along with the six championship banners. Some have their names etched on the Stanley Cup and have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

“The Bruins will open the milestone season Wednesday, October 11, when they host the Chicago Blackhawks at 7:30 p.m. at TD Garden. Special guest appearances from prominent Boston Bruins alumni will highlight the evening’s “Rafters Reunion” ceremony, a gathering of key figures who have been immortalized in the TD Garden rafters over the course of the club’s 100-year history. Alumni will make a special red-carpet entrance into TD Garden at The Hub on Causeway, where fans can catch a glimpse of some of the black & gold’s biggest stars as they arrive to the game with backdrop of music, décor, photo opportunities and more. Ticketed fans will also receive a special “Blood, Sweat & 100 Years” Opening Night t-shirt upon arrival, courtesy of TD Bank”
