Linebacker Adalius Thomas returned to the practice field after sitting out on Tuesday, but seven of his teammates, including Ty Warren, were held out of workouts on Wednesday afternoon.
Warren, who is suffering from an ankle injury which he sustained in New England's win over Tampa Bay in London, was spotted stretching with his teammates at the beginning of practice but did not participate in drills.
Among the seven players missing was Jonathan Wilhite, who is suffering from illness. Fred Taylor, Julian Edelman, Jarvis Green, Matt Light and Sammy Morris were all expected no-shows due to various lingering injuries.
