Sometimes, it's easy to forget that the concept of hockey is a fairly crazy idea.
You've got grown men trying to put a rubber puck in a net. That much is simple. But those same men are thrown on a slab of ice and told to skate into each other. Every once in a while, you get an occurrence such as this one.

Comment of the day
With Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett out of the lineup late Wednesday night, the Celtics had no chance against the Suns. So with three straight losses, fans are getting pretty fed up with losing.
But is Brian Scalabrine really getting some criticism? I mean, really? What do you expect out of the guy? The man is averaging 1.3 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game. The only stat he has with an average of a whole number? That would be personal fouls per game (1.0).
Dude's not good. Maybe lay some blame elsewhere.
"Glad to see I'm not the only one fed up with Scalabrine. To be fair, he hasn't looked quite as bad the last couple of games as he usually does, but even his best games are unimpressive. I want to see more of Shelden Williams, who I think has the potential to be a very good rebounder for a guy his size."
