The NHL season ends in June, but thanks to the first annual Boston Bruins Summer Camp, Boston-area kids aged 7-14 can continue honing their hockey skills throughout the summer.

The camp will feature extensive hockey training under the Pro Ambitions Hockey, Inc. program, including everything from 1-on-1 battles, to conditioning drills, to on-ice mentoring from active and former NHL players. After more than 37 hours of lessons, young skaters and shooters are sure to come out of the camp with enhanced hockey skills and increased knowledge.

Each skater will receive a camp jersey and a gift bag, which includes two tickets to a 2010-11 Bruins preseason game. There also will be plenty of opportunities to collect autographs during the camp, as members of the Bruins organization are scheduled to appear throughout.

There are two camp sessions available — July 19-23 at the Jim Roche Community Ice Arena in West Roxbury, Mass., and Aug. 16-20 at the Haverhill Valley Forum in Haverhill, Mass. Each costs $550 for the week ($500 for goalies).
