Wait … that team from Ohio wasn’t Ohio State? Oh, boy.
The team in question was the Bobcats of Ohio University, a team that dominated the Hoyas and cruised to a 97-83 upset victory. That, as they say, is why they play the games.

–Zdeno Chara, after a bitter Bruins loss at the hands of the Penguins
After the most disappointing loss of the season, most Bruins fans probably had trouble summarizing their feelings into words. Not this guy.
“As a lifetime Bruins fan I was thoroughly ashamed to admit it after last night’s game. They not only didn’t take care of the guy that put Savard out for at least the rest of the season, they lacked intensity after period 1. I also stuck by the coaching staff but now realize I was wrong. The players can’t simply adlib each and every game which means they have to be following instructions. They are not a very talented team and trying to pass in fron the oppositions net rarely is successful. They also go back to the point way too much. The team from the 70’s must have thought they were watching their grandchildren’s Pee Wee team. They should keep the players on the ice that are actually trying – like Thornton and a handful of others, even on the power play. “

Buckets like this one are the reason they call it March Madness.
