The second day of the NCAA Tournament wasn’t quite as wild as the first.
Only three lower-seeded teams advanced. No. 10 seeds Missouri and Georgia Tech survived, but the big Cinderella story was No. 12 Cornell, which rolled past No. 5 Temple 78-65. It was the first tournament win in five appearances for the Big Red and the first win for an Ivy League school since Princeton won as a No. 5 seed in 1998.
What will the first day of Round 2 bring — more favorites taking care of business or upsets?
That’s why they play the games.
Here is the updated bracket.
