Bruins Recall Defenseman Andrew Bodnarchuk From Providence

The Bruins have recalled defenseman Andrew Bodnarchuk from Providence on an emergency basis, general manager Peter Chiarelli announced on Saturday.

Bodnarchuk will join the team for its morning skate at the Air Canada Centre, and will be available for the contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The 21-year-old Bodnarchuk has played in 70 games for Providence this season, scoring five goals and logging 10 assists, while spending 51 minutes in the penalty box.
