Patriots Sign Two Undrafted Free Agents

The Patriots added a Bulldog and a Chippewa after the NFL draft.

According to WEEI.com, the Pats signed Central Michigan receiver Bryan Anderson and Mississippi State defensive lineman Kyle Love, both of whom went undrafted.

Anderson set an NCAA record by recording a reception in 54 consecutive games. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound receiver is one of two players in CMU history to earn All-MAC honors four straight seasons, and completed his college career ranked third in MAC history in receptions and fourth in receiving yards.

Love adds versatility to the Patriots' defensive line. The former Bulldog has recorded 71 tackles in 44 career games, and has played both defensive tackle and nose tackle in four collegiate seasons.

Both players face an uphill battle to claim roster spots with the 2010 Patriots. Third-round pick Taylor Price will compete with Anderson for a roster spot, while seventh-round selections Brandon Deaderick and Kade Weston will challenge Love in training camp.
