Annie Brophy of Notre Dame Caught Cheating at NCAA Golf Tournament

Annie Brophy has been disqualified from an NCAA tournament for unsportsmanlike conduct after
giving false scores during the final round.

The Notre Dame golfer, according to the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, said she was just trying to
be funny
. Unfortunately for her, the NCAA committee didn't think it was a laughing matter as they disqualified her from the Central Regional tournament in Columbus, Ind., while she was on the 14th hole.

According to the golfer, she said her scorecard was accurate but she gave inaccurate scores to those posting them.
