Jacoby Ellsbury Returns, David Ortiz Penciled in at First Base

Jacoby Ellsbury is back in the Red Sox lineup Saturday for the first time since injuring his ribs back in early April.

Ellsbury will be leading off and playing center field as center fielder Mike Cameron remains in the minors on his rehab assignment.

David Ortiz is getting the start at first base for Terry Francona's crew. Papi hasn't played first since June 28, 2009 against the Braves in Atlanta — one of six starts at the first-base bag last summer. It will be his 233rd career start at first base and first this season.

This Sox lineup has minimal experience against Phillies' hurler Kyle Kendrick. Only Jeremy Hermida (4-for-13) and Dustin Pedroia (1-for-4) have more than three at-bats against the young righty. J.D. Drew (2-for-3), Mike Lowell (2-for-3) and Hermida each have homers off Kendrick.
