Run to Home Base Results: Two Boston Men, Two Boston Women Finish in Top 10

Boston was well-represented on Sunday as two city men and two city women placed in the top 10 in the Run to Home Base 9K, which featured over 2,000 participants crossing home plate at Fenway Park.

Two of the top 10 women were Bostonians, including 24-year-old Emily Mareb (35:44), who finished in second place behind Amherst, NH native Alexandra Varanka (34:48), who took home the women's title.

Peter Gleason of Millbury, MA took the men's crown with a time of 31:35. Boston's Vikram Mittal (33:05) placed fourth while Joshua Gallitano (33:17) took sixth.
